Music Programmer

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Music Programming: Collaborate with composers and producers to create and program music tracks using digital audio workstations (DAWs) and other music software.
• Sound Design: Assist in sound selection, arrangement, and blending different sound layers for seamless transitions and enhancing musical output.
• Music Production: Aid in the production and development of original music, including remixing and editing tracks for diverse projects.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other departments such as sound engineers, music directors, and creative teams to deliver projects on time.
• Software Expertise: Utilize music programming software (e.g., Ableton Live, Logic Pro, FL Studio, Cubase) to enhance musical projects and ensure high-quality output.
• Music Library Management: Organize, maintain, and update the music and sound effect libraries.
• Technical Troubleshooting: Identify and solve technical issues related to programming, software, or equipment.
• Industry Research: Stay updated with new tools, technologies, and trends in the music programming and production industry.

Desired profile of the candidate :

• Degree in Music Production, Sound Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in music programming and production.
• Strong understanding of music theory, sound design, and audio engineering techniques.
• Ability to compose, arrange, and program high-quality, original music in various genres.
• Knowledge of music for film and television production.
• Understanding of music licensing and copyright issues.
