Job Description
Job Title: Store In-Charge / Store ExecutiveJob Summary:
The Store In-Charge / Store Executive is responsible for managing the overall store operations, including receipt, storage, issuance, and tracking of materials. The role ensures proper inventory control, accurate documentation, and smooth coordination with procurement, accounts, and user departments.
Key Responsibilities:1. Inventory & Stock Management
- Maintain accurate stock levels of all materials, consumables, and equipment
- Monitor stock movement and update inventory records regularly
- Conduct periodic physical stock verification and reconcile differences
2. Store Operations
- Receive materials and verify quantity, quality, and supporting documents
- Ensure proper storage, labeling, and safe handling of goods
- Issue materials only against approved requisitions or indents
3. Documentation & Records
- Maintain stock registers, bin cards, GRN (Goods Receipt Note), and issue registers
- Update ERP or Excel-based inventory systems
- File and organize invoices, delivery challans, and purchase documents
4. Coordination
- Coordinate with purchase, accounts, and department heads for material requirements
- Follow up with vendors for timely delivery and replacements
- Assist internal and external audits by providing required data and reports
5. Control & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to store policies and procedures
- Prevent wastage, damage, pilferage, and misuse of stock
- Maintain cleanliness and proper organization of the store area
6. Reporting
- Provide daily/weekly/monthly stock reports to management
- Highlight shortages, excess stock, or slow-moving items
- Support planning of inventory procurement based on consumption patterns
Skills Required:
- Strong knowledge of inventory and store management practices
- Good computer skills (Excel, ERP systems preferred)
- Attention to detail and strong record-keeping ability
- Good communication and coordination skills
Qualifications
- Any Degree / Diploma (preferred)
- Experience: 1–3 years in store, inventory, or warehouse operations (preferred)
Pay: From ₹15,000.00 per month
