Provide technical assistance and information regarding Quality activities and deliverables to the Manufacturing Engineer/s leading the manufacturing launch activities for the assigned NPI projectsPromote and support Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement activities in ManufacturingCreate and maintain the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) for all development and production programs with the guidance of the NPI and Manufacturing engineersAble to setup the assembly line process (assembly sequence, tool identification, MES setup) with the guidance of manufacturing engineering for an efficient production lineSupport manufacturing engineering in DFX and DFMA initiativesPerform tests, gather data, and write results/reports with assistance from Process Engineering, utilizing various types of electro-mechanical equipmentWork with engineering staff to evaluate and specify equipment, validate functionality and identify safe, efficient and effective best practices, and develop processes for prototype and pilot production
