  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end in-house financial reports for partners
  • Assist with the development of annual budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections

Trust Accounting & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with Law Society trust accounting rules in receiving and disbursing trust funds
  • Produce trust account reconciliations and reporting
  • Coordinate information required for Law Society audits and external reviews
  • Adhere to strong internal financial controls with respect to trust accounts

Billing & Revenue

  • Oversee and perform client billing and disbursement tracking

  • Assist external accountants in improving accounting processes and efficiency
  • Supervise and mentor junior accounting and administrative staff with data entry, and ensure accurate coding
  • Liaise with external accountants and banks

What you bring

  • 2+ years of accounting experience, ideally in a law firm or professional services environment
  • A diploma or degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of Law Society trust accounting rules
  • Familiarity with legal accounting software such as Action Step/Soluno, Tymetrix, or Sage
  • Excellent analytical thinking, attention to detail, and communication skills
  • A collaborative, detail-oriented approach and the confidence to own your work

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $65,000–$80,000 depending on experience
  • Extended health and dental benefits
  • Paid vacation
  • Professional development support
  • A tight-knit, supportive team that wants to see you thrive
