Hiring Unit: Department of Biology (Professor Stephanie Weber) Position Summary: Constructs a new bacterial strain expressing degron-tagged NusA. Validates the strain by Western blot. Conducts experiments using fluorescence microscopy. Assists in the analysis and interpretation of data. Maintains lab work area in a clean and orderly fashion. Qualifications: Good time management skills. Attention to detail. Education/Experience: Experience working with bacteria is preferred. Must have completed a laboratory course in molecular biology or microbiology (BIOL301, MIMM212 or equivalent). Enrolled in a BSc program.
