The Clinical Research Coordinator will play a key role in participant management, specimen collection, clinical assessments, and coordination of study procedures in collaboration with the research team. Primary Responsibilities: Screen/enrol eligible study participants and lead the Informed Consent process Inform participants on study procedures, including use of electronic data capture systems (e.g., REDCap) and questionnaire/symptom reporting tools Perform protocol-specific clinical tasks (i.e., measuring height and weight) and targeted physical assessments Collect biological samples (i.e., blood /PBMCs and saliva) according to protocol Support participant visits (initial, monthly follow-up, and post-infection visits) Assist in identifying and managing participants presenting with symptoms of mono Ensure adherence to study protocols and maintain accurate, real-time documentation of study visits and data collected Collaborate with research coordinators and investigators to ensure smooth study operations Attend and participate in team meetings and seminars held at the Division Other Qualifying Skills and/or Abilities Bachelor of Science in Nursing Registered Nurse (RN) with current licensure in Quebec Experience in clinical research or outpatient care preferred Strong phlebotomy skills required Experience with young adult populations is an asset Familiarity with electronic data capture systems (e.g., REDCap) is an asset Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team As one of Montreal's Top Employers, here is what we offer: Competitive benefits package (Health, Dental, Life Insurance) (if eligible) Defined contribution pension plan (with employer contribution up to 10%) (if eligible) Group Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP) and Tax Free Savings Account (TFSA) Competitive vacation policy Two (2) personal days Two (2) floating holidays Nine (9) "Summer Fridays" - paid days off between the St-Jean Baptiste holiday and Labour Day Paid time off over the December holiday period Tuition waiver for regular employees and their dependents Up to two (2) days of remote work per week where the position permits Before applying, please note that to work at McGill University, you must be both authorized to work in Canada and willing to work in the province of Quebec at the campus where the position is based / located.
