ESG Reporting Analyst

The ESG Data Analyst is responsible for collecting, validating, analysing, and reporting Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) data to support corporate sustainability initiatives and regulatory compliance. In partnership with the ESG Reporting Manager, this role ensures data integrity, develops dashboards, and provides actionable insights to internal stakeholders and external reporting frameworks. The analyst manages several key priorities focusing on data mapping, integrity and accuracy in our ESG Software solution and contributes to the maintenance and expansion of our ESG software solution.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Implement the platform for all ESG related data and reporting metrics for McCormick, including administrative oversight, training new users, identifying, and implementing ongoing enhancements.
  • Manage data accuracy and integrity of our ESG Software solution for PLP data collection process. Develop and draft disclosures for ESG related reports
  • Partner with the ESG Reporting manager to enable effective and timely process from data collection to external & internal reporting
  • Develop and maintain dashboards using visualisation tools for ESG Data
  • Compliance and Framework Alignment
  • Manage ESG Software procedures, documentation and audit trails
  • Ensure alignment with global ESG frameworks and regulatory requirements
  • Gather ESG-related data from internal systems and external partners.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance ESG data processes and automation.
  • Collaborate with IT and sustainability teams to improve data systems.
  • Partner with the ESG Reporting manager to enable standardization of processes, reporting, and ways of working.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Bachelors degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Data Analytics, Finance, or related field.

Experience: 3-6 years in ESG reporting, sustainability analytics, or data analysis.

Technical Skills: Advanced Excel and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).

Knowledge: ESG frameworks (GRI, SASB, TCFD, CDP)

Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and communication skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience with sustainability platforms.

Understanding of ESG requirements.
