Data Analytics Engineer - Ecommerce

Role Overview:

We are looking for new team members who are passionate about eCommerce analytics, data engineering collaboration, and building high quality reporting solutions. Join our team as a Senior Analytics Engineer to help elevate our digital commerce insights. You will work with Adobe Analytics, Power BI, Databricks, and SQL to design scalable data models, build advanced dashboards, optimize performance, and deliver accurate, actionable insights for the business. You will collaborate closely with Data Engineers and cross functional teams while establishing best practices in reporting, data quality, and analytics standards. This position reports to the Sr. Engineering Manager / Director.

This is a Hybrid position located at our Bangalore, India, development center. You will be required to be on-site 2 to 3 days per week. When you are not working on-site, you will be working from your home office. We are only considering candidates within a commutable distance to our Bangalore office and are not offering relocation assistance at this time.

About the Role

• Analyze customer behavior using Adobe Analytics, building segments, creating calculated metrics, and delivering insights that enhance the digital commerce experience.
• Build and optimize scalable data models using Power BI, Databricks, and SQL to support accurate and efficient eCommerce reporting.
• Develop high‑performance Power BI dashboards and reports, applying advanced DAX and visualization best practices.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers and cross‑functional teams to define data requirements, improve data pipelines, and ensure high‑quality, reliable reporting data.
• Review business and technical requirements to ensure that analytics solutions are consistent, testable, well‑documented, and aligned with stakeholder needs.

About You:

• 8–10 years of hands‑on experience in data analytics, business intelligence, and building enterprise‑grade reporting solutions.
• Strong expertise in Adobe Analytics, including segmentation, calculated metrics, workspace analysis, and deriving actionable insights from digital behavior data.
• Extensive Power BI proficiency, covering advanced DAX, scalable data modelling, performance optimization, and creating dashboards used across business functions.
• Advanced SQL and Databricks experience, including Delta Lake, notebooks, optimized queries, and collaborating with Data Engineers on pipeline and data model design.
• Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and communication skills, with the ability to interpret complex datasets, design KPIs, and clearly present insights to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
