Position Overview

MBE Dedicated is seeking a highly motivated, results-driven Logistics Manager to support and grow our North American transportation operations. This individual will play a critical role in managing day-to-day logistics activities, developing carrier partnerships, and delivering exceptional service to our customers. The ideal candidate brings a strong book of business, of an established carrier network, and deep experience across domestic Canadian and cross-border (Canada–USA) freight operations.

Key Responsibilities

∙Manage and execute daily transportation operations across Canada and North America

∙Source, negotiate, and secure capacity using platforms such as Loadlink, Truckstop, and DAT

∙Leverage existing carrier relationships and network to support customer freight requirements

∙Develop and maintain long-term relationships with customers and carriers

∙Coordinate and monitor shipments to ensure on-time pickup and delivery performance

∙Provide proactive communication, tracking, and issue resolution to customers

∙Identify opportunities for cost savings, efficiency improvements, and service enhancements

∙Support RFQs, RFPs, and spot quote requests with competitive and strategic pricing

∙Ensure compliance with all transportation regulations, safety standards, and company policies

∙Collaborate with internal teams to support growth initiatives and operational excellence

Qualifications & Requirements

∙Minimum 5+ years of experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain management

∙Proven experience working with Loadlink, Truckstop, and DAT load boards

∙Established book of business with a strong carrier network across North America

∙Solid understanding of domestic Canada and cross-border (Canada–USA) freight operations ∙Strong knowledge of equipment types (dry van, reefer, flatbed, specialized equipment)

∙Demonstrated ability to negotiate rates and secure reliable capacity in a volatile market

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $68,662.01-$82,689.73 per year
