Job Description
Key Responsibilities*: - *Accounting Operations*: Record journal entries, maintain ledgers, process invoices, and handle accounts payable/receivable in Tally/SAP/Zoho Books - *Banking & Payments*: Prepare cheques, NEFT/RTGS, track payments, and perform bank reconciliation - *GST & Compliance*: Assist in GST filing, TDS deduction, E-invoicing, and maintain compliance documents - *Vendor/Customer Coordination*: Verify vendor bills, follow up for payments, send statements, and resolve discrepancies - *Reporting*: Prepare MIS reports, expense statements, and monthly closing reports for management - *Documentation*: Maintain proper files for invoices, POs, contracts, and audit support documents - *Payroll Support*: Assist with salary processing, employee reimbursements, and PF/ESI records - *Administrative Support*: Coordinate with auditors, CA, and handle correspondence related to accounts *Required Skills*: - Proficiency in Tally Prime, SAP FICO, Excel - VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables - Knowledge of GST, TDS, and basic accounting principles - Attention to detail and accuracy with numbers - Good communication for vendor/client follow-ups - Time management to meet month-end deadline.
