We are looking for a candidate that can build and scale new processes, is motivated by constant process improvement opportunities, and can work well cross-functionally.&nbsp; This role reports to the Director of Accounting.&nbsp;</span></p> <h1><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Essential Responsibilities</strong></span></h1> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Direct monthly financial close process, ensuring accuracy in accordance with both internal and external reporting requirements</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Review and/or prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and other related analyses associated with monthly financial reporting requirements, including retention of proper documentation for journal entries and account reconciliations</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Provide technical accounting guidance, analysis, and documentation, including implementation of any new accounting standards</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Perform various activities to support the internal control environment, such as approvals of new vendors and weekly expenditures, review of payroll registers and journal entries</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Assist in implementation and documentation of internal controls</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Support financial statement preparation and audits</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Manage outside relationships with other accounting service providers, such as technical accounting and tax matters</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Oversee global consolidations and support international accounting team members</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Ability to manage team members effectively, providing support and coaching as necessary</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Support other special projects as assigned</span></li> </ul> <h1><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Skills and Abilities</strong></span></h1> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><em>Success in this role typically requires the following competencies:</em></span></p> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Lead strategic advancement of the department;
