Senior Frontend Engineer

This position is contingent upon the award of a contract and available openings. Selected candidates will receive a contingent offer of employment, transforming into a final offer once the contract is secured, the position is available, and authorization to proceed is granted.

This role requires on-site work five days a week and necessitates an active TS/SCI security clearance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as a subject matter expert for assigned tasks.
• Utilize analytical skills to enhance process improvement and articulate requirements effectively.
• Engage in tasks such as analysis, planning, requirements documentation, functional modeling, developing procedures, and creating functional architectures.
• Conduct engineering tasks focused on Front End design and development.
• Create and optimize visual designs, including technical drawings, mockups, wireframes, and documentation for stakeholder review.
• Lead enhancements in Graphic User Interfaces (GUIs) and improve system navigation for user-facing features.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Active TS/SCI clearance is mandatory.
• Availability to work on-site in Fort Meade, MD up to five days each week.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required (a Master's degree may substitute for 2 years of experience).
• 10 years of experience in the relevant functional area.
• 10 years of software development experience using object-oriented and scripting languages, with proficiency in DevSecOps tools, microservices, and containers.
• 5 years of hands-on Front End web design and development experience.
• 5 years of experience using bug tracking software such as Jira.
• 5 years of experience in testing web applications.
• 5 years of leadership experience in software development projects.
• Practical experience with cloud environments.
• 5 years of experience with Jenkins and GitLab.
• 5 years of expertise in at least five of the following technologies:
• Apache
• Ember
• JavaScript
• Jaguar
• Java
• Cricket
• Node
• Proven experience in agile, user-centric application design that adheres to top-tier UI/UX standards.
• Experience in documenting and performing system tests to ensure compliance with project standards and requirements.
• Skilled in creating system wireframes and mockups that address various user personas.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Agile Test-Driven Development methodologies.
• Familiarity with integrating into DevSecOps environments.
• Experience with UX design tools such as Sketch and InVision.
• 5 years of experience in CI/CD software development.

Salary Range: From $125,000.00 to $150,000.00
