Job Description: Procurement Specialist – International (Computer Peripherals & Access Control)Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Procurement Specialist – International to lead and manage end-to-end global procurement operations for computer peripherals and access control systems. The role focuses exclusively on international sourcing, bulk procurement from OEMs/manufacturers, and cross-border supply chain management.
The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in global vendor management, import logistics, and international trade compliance, with proven experience sourcing from China, Europe, USA, UAE, Australia, and Japan.
This is a senior individual contributor role based in Delhi NCR, operating in a hybrid work environment with high cross-functional and global stakeholder interaction.
Position Details
- Position Title: Procurement Specialist – International
- Department: Supply Chain & Procurement
- Location: Delhi NCR (Noida / Gurugram / Delhi) – Hybrid
- Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent

- Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree (Engineering / Business / Supply Chain preferred)

Role & ResponsibilitiesInternational Procurement – Peripherals & Access Control
- Lead end-to-end international procurement of:
- Computer peripherals: HDDs, SSDs, RAM, cables, connectors, adapters
- Access control & surveillance systems: CCTV cameras, biometric devices, controllers, RFID systems
- Analyse technical specifications, BOQs, and global product standards to ensure accurate sourcing.
- Coordinate with internal teams to align procurement with project timelines and inventory planning.
- Ensure procurement from authorised OEMs, global distributors, and certified manufacturers.
Global Sourcing & Vendor Development
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies across:
- China, Europe, USA, UAE, Australia, Japan
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard international vendors, OEMs, and manufacturers.
- Build a strong global vendor ecosystem with multi-country sourcing capabilities.
- Create backup sourcing channels to mitigate geopolitical and supply chain risks.
Bulk Procurement & OEM Engagement
- Manage high-volume procurement directly from OEMs and manufacturers.
- Negotiate global supply agreements, pricing structures, and long-term contracts.
- Ensure consistent supply flow for high-demand SKUs and critical components.
- Maintain strong relationships with OEMs, global distributors, and factory partners.
Commercial Negotiations & Contract Management
- Lead negotiations on:
- Pricing, MOQs, and volume discounts
- Payment terms (advance, LC, credit terms)
- Warranty, SLA, and replacement policies
- Draft and execute:
- International purchase agreements
- NDAs and supplier contracts
- Establish rate contracts and long-term sourcing agreements with global suppliers.
Import Logistics & Trade Compliance
- Manage complete import lifecycle:
- Freight forwarding (air/sea)
- Customs clearance and CHA coordination
- Last-mile delivery coordination
- Handle documentation:
- Commercial Invoice, Packing List, AWB/BL, COO, LC documentation
- Ensure compliance with:
- DGFT & EXIM policies
- HS code classification
- Customs duties and GST/IGST implications
- Optimize freight cost, transit time, and reduce demurrage/detention risks.
Market Intelligence & Cost Optimization
- Monitor global pricing trends, component shortages, and supply chain disruptions.
- Benchmark pricing across regions and suppliers.
- Drive cost optimization through strategic sourcing and negotiation.
Compliance, Documentation & Governance
- Maintain complete and audit-ready documentation for all international procurements.
- Ensure adherence to internal procurement policies and regulatory requirements.
- Support audits and ensure transparency in procurement transactions.
- Drive ERP-based procurement processes and digital tracking systems.
Key RequirementsEducational Qualifications
- Mandatory: Bachelor’s Degree (Engineering / Supply Chain / Business)
- Preferred: MBA / PGDM in Supply Chain / Operations
- Certifications like CIPS / CSCP / CPSM are an advantage
Experience
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in international procurement
- Strong hands-on experience in:
- Computer peripherals procurement (HDD, SSD, RAM, connectors, cables, etc.)
- Access control and surveillance systems
- Proven experience in:
- Bulk procurement from OEMs/manufacturers
- Sourcing from China, Europe, USA, UAE, Australia, and Japan
- Experience handling imports, international logistics, and trade compliance
Technical Skills & Knowledge
- Strong understanding of:
- IT hardware and components
- Access control systems and CCTV ecosystem
- Proficiency in:
- ERP systems (SAP preferred)
- Advanced Excel for cost and vendor analysis
- Knowledge of:
- Incoterms
- Import/export regulations
- HS codes and LC mechanisms
