Cost Accountant

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting including revenue, expenses, and vendor payments (using SAP)
• Oversee AP/AR and support cash flow tracking
• Handle manufacturing and revenue-related accounting, including COGS, inventory (raw/WIP/finished goods), and trade spend reconciliation (rebates, chargebacks, promotions)
• Prepare financial reports (P&L, balance sheet, and supporting schedules)
• Assist with month-end and year-end close
• Perform reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and process improvements

Requirements

• 5–7 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and reporting
• Experience with an ERP or accounting system
• Advanced Excel skills
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities

Education

• Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
• CPA is a plus
