MatchBox Consulting Group is currently seeking a ServiceNow Event Management Consultant for a 6 month contract role with a client of ours located in Toronto.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize ServiceNow Event Management solutions with a focus on AIOps capabilities
• Build and maintain event processing rules, including filtering, transformation, and correlation (rule-based, tag-based, and topology-driven)
• Integrate Event Management with Incident Management, including automated priority mapping based on severity and business impact
• Configure maintenance windows, blackout periods, and alert suppression aligned with change management processes
• Collaborate on CMDB and Service Mapping to ensure accurate CI relationships and effective impact analysis

Requirements

• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – Event Management (required)
• Strong experience with event correlation, alerting, and AIOps within ServiceNow
• Proven experience integrating ServiceNow with Incident Management and third-party monitoring tools
• Solid understanding of CMDB, Service Mapping, and CI relationship structures
• ITIL certification or strong working knowledge of ITIL practices (preferred)
