Your primary job is to carry out Quality Inspection of Newly Developed Parts (NPD) by doing Layout inspection

Your job is to ensure that all the parameters and dimensions on the part meet the mentioned standards, tolerances in the drawing

Escalate any out of specification parameter to the customer, halt the production in case needed

You have excellent knowledge of drawing reading, Ballooning and instruments selection

You have basic knowledge of CMM programming and report evaluation

You have good knowledge of Quality Management Systems followed by the Automotive Industry

You have good knowledge of Casting, Forging and very good knowledge of Machining processes

Job Responsibilities:

Prepare inspection plan, Ballooning in drawing, define measurement method and instruments required

Carry out LAYOUT inspection of New Development Parts

Prepare inspection reports as per designated formats

Coordinate with Production department to arrange parts for inspection, further coordinate with all departments to ensure smooth information flow about outcomes of the Layout inspection

Participate in the CFT and escalate all the issues in timely manner!

Take necessary corrective and preventive actions

Knowledge of Ms- Excel will be preferred
