Claims Specialist-Finance

Our Kingsville Head Office Location is currently seeking a Claims Specialist to join our Finance team. The Claims Specialist is responsible for leading activities related to financial reporting and monitoring financial activities with the sales team.

Primary Responsibilities

• Work with Sales and Accounts Receivable to process PAS returns efficiently.
• Create and manage carrier claims.
• Collect, analyze and utilize date to identify opportunities to support Sales functions.
• Identify process to improve the efficiencies between Accounts Receivable and Sales.
• Compile, analyze and distribute summary information related to KPI’s.
• Distribute sales orders to Sales team weekly, ensuring follow up.
• Identify processes to improve cash flow.
• Research new processes and develop procedures for claims department and work with all departments to create best practices
• Create and manage rejections.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Special projects as assigned.

Education/Background Requirements:

• College degree required.
• At least 2 years of related work experience required.

Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience in produce accounting department preferred.
• High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Aptitude for learning new software programs required.
• Company confidentiality agreement will be required.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work independently, with minimal supervision and take ownership of job.
• Willingness to work with a high degree of professionalism and personal integrity.

Salary range is $50k/yr-$55k/yr CAD
