Role Overview:
As a Data Scientist II at Finicity, a Mastercard company, you will be part of the Data Science and Analytics team leading the Open Banking Initiative to enhance the Financial Health of consumers and businesses. Your role involves manipulating large data sets, applying technical and statistical analytical techniques like OLS, multinomial logistic regression, clustering, and segmentation to extract insights. - Exposure to financial transactional structured and unstructured data, transaction classification, risk evaluation, and credit risk modeling is a plus
- Strong understanding of NLP, Statistical Modeling, Visualization, and advanced Data Science techniques
- Experience with solving new problems in the financial industry and data science
- SQL/Database experience preferred
- Familiarity with Kubernetes, Containers, Docker, REST APIs, Event Streams, or other delivery mechanisms
- Knowledge of relevant technologies such as GenAI, TensorFlow, Python, Sklearn, Pandas, etc.
- Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics
