Assistant Manager - Laundry

As an Assistant in hotel laundry operations at JW Marriott Hotel Pune, your role involves working with employees to wash, dry, and iron linen for guest rooms and Food and Beverage/Culinary Department within existing time constraints. Your responsibilities include maintaining a safe and clean work environment.

• *Key Responsibilities:**
• Assist in managing day-to-day operations, ensuring quality standards and meeting customer expectations daily.
• Communicate safety procedures, monitor safety codes, and ensure employee understanding of safety protocols.
• Comprehend budgets, operating statements, and payroll progress reports to assist in financial management.
• Ensure consistent workflow to minimize production peaks and valleys.
• Order and manage necessary supplies, equipment, tools, and uniforms.
• Work with the Engineering department on Laundry equipment maintenance needs.
• Participate in departmental meetings, communicate departmental goals, and operate department equipment as necessary.
• Develop and implement new techniques, supplies, and equipment.
• *Qualifications Required:**
• High school diploma or GED.
• 1 year experience in laundry, housekeeping, or related professional area.
