AI/ML Engineer – Agentic Systems (Machine Learning Engineer)

About the Role

We're building a production-grade agentic AI platform powered by LLMs to transform how startups and SMBs generate demand and scale marketing. We are looking for a strong AI/ML engineer with deep systems thinking to design and build the core architecture for our LLM-driven agentic platform. This role goes far beyond prompt engineering. You will work on LLM orchestration, autonomous agents, scalable inference infrastructure, evaluation pipelines, and ML observability. You will collaborate directly with the founding leadership and Silicon Valley product teams, with the opportunity to grow into a Technical Lead role within 12–18 months. Job Location: In-person in Pune, India.

What You'll Work On

• Design and build production-scale agentic AI systems using LLMs
• Architect LLM orchestration frameworks, tool-use agents, and workflow automation
• Develop prompt management, evaluation, and optimization pipelines
• Build robust LLM observability systems (monitoring latency, hallucination rates, cost, and performance)
• Implement data pipelines and feedback loops to continuously improve model accuracy
• Design scalable APIs and services powering AI products used by real customers
• Work closely with product and research teams to rapidly prototype and deploy new AI capabilities
• Drive technical architecture decisions and establish engineering best practices
• Mentor engineers and help shape the future AI engineering team

What We're Looking For

• B.Tech / B.E. / M.Tech in Computer Science, AI, or related fields from a reputed institute (IIT/NIT/IIIT preferred)
• 4–8 years of software engineering experience
• 2+ years building production ML / LLM systems
• Strong programming skills in Python
• Experience building backend services (FastAPI / microservices / APIs)
• Hands-on experience with LLM frameworks, orchestration, or GenAI systems
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines and MLOps / LLMOps workflows
• Experience deploying AI workloads on Azure / AWS / GCP
• Strong fundamentals in machine learning, data systems, and distributed systems

Additional experience is big plus

• Experience building Agentic systems (LangChain, LangGraph, MCP server etc.)
• Experience building LLM evaluation frameworks
• Experience with LLM fine-tuning
• Infrastructure-as-Code experience (Terraform / Bicep)
