Manufacturing Process Improvement Specialist

Elevate equipment and manufacturing efficiency as a Process Specialist. Lead workflow evaluations and implement improvements that enhance capacity and reduce costs in a dynamic environment.

This role collaborates with the Production Manager to refine manufacturing processes and support product development. You will implement Lean/Six Sigma methodologies to optimize operations while managing diverse tasks efficiently. Your contribution to safety assessments and capital projects is integral to maintaining high-quality standards and workflow documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive improvements in manufacturing processes and workflows
• Support new product development and process layout documentation
• Collaborate with Operations and R&D for quality validation
• Conduct safety risk assessments and oversee contractor tasks
• Champion ergonomic design and ongoing maintenance programs

Requirements

• Engineering degree or Technologist Diploma required
• 3–5 years of engineering experience in food manufacturing
• Excellent skills in MS Office and AutoCAD
• Strong analytical problem-solving abilities
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
