Quality Inspector

Our client, a manufacturing organization, is seeking a Quality Inspector to join their team. As a Quality Inspector, you will be part of the Quality Department supporting Manufacturing and Production Inspection teams. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, solid reading comprehension, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Quality Inspector

Location: Parsippany-Troy Hills, NJ

Pay Range: $29 per hour

What’s the Job?

• Inspect first‑article, in‑process, and final machined components to ensure conformance to engineering drawings and customer specifications
• Interpret and follow written inspection instructions, quality requirements, and technical documentation
• Measure dimensions and features using precision instruments including micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, optical comparators, and X‑Y‑Z measuring equipment
• Establish reference points and verify angles, radii, and dimensions using surface plates, gauge blocks, V‑blocks, and related inspection aids
• Complete inspection reports, airflow tests, incoming inspections, and maintain accurate quality records

What’s Needed?

• High School Diploma or GED
• Experience in manufacturing or quality inspection preferred
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings, work instructions, and inspection standards
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds and work overtime or weekends as required
