Electrician Mechanic

As an Electrician - Mechanic, your role will encompass a variety of responsibilities related to electrical systems and equipment in both residential and commercial buildings. Your primary duties will include installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, conducting inspections and testing for functionality and safety, diagnosing and resolving electrical faults, and adhering to safety standards and regulations. You will also be responsible for interpreting technical diagrams, coordinating with other trades on construction sites, and maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in residential and commercial buildings.
• Perform electrical wiring, conduit installation, and troubleshooting of electrical components.
• Conduct routine inspections and testing of electrical systems to ensure functionality and safety.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical faults, including short circuits, power failures, and malfunctioning equipment.
• Interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and specifications to determine wiring layouts and installation procedures.
• Adhere to safety standards and regulations to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with electrical codes.
• Coordinate with other trades and contractors to facilitate electrical installations and repairs on construction sites.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including work performed, materials used, and time spent.

Qualifications Required:

• Preferably completed I.T.I. (Industrial Training Institute) or equivalent certification in electrical trade.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience as an electrician, preferably in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and tools.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Valid electrical license or certification (if applicable).
