Construction Supervisor

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Construction Supervisor based in Chennai. The Construction Supervisor will oversee and manage construction sites to ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with safety and quality standards. Responsibilities include site supervision, conducting inspections, coordinating on-site activities, and liaising with various stakeholders such as contractors, architects, and clients.

Qualifications

• Supervisory skills with the ability to manage teams and coordinate construction activities on-site
• Proven experience in site supervision and construction project management
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with contractors, architects, and clients
• Expertise in conducting thorough inspections to ensure quality and adherence to project specifications
• Knowledge of construction safety practices and ensuring compliance with safety regulations
• Problem-solving skills and ability to make prompt decisions under pressure
• Familiarity with construction tools, equipment, and relevant software is an advantage
• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering or related field is preferred
