Senior Manager - Business Development (Advertising agency experience is a must)

We are seeking a seasoned professional with a background in digital advertising to lead new business acquisition and drive growth across existing client accounts. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen, a deep understanding of digital and creative services, and the ability to build long-term client partnerships in a fast-evolving, AI-driven landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, prospect, and acquire new clients across key industries and global markets
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet revenue targets
- Lead end-to-end pitch processes, including RFP responses, presentations, and negotiations
- Build a strong pipeline through networking, industry events, and partnerships
- Drive revenue growth within existing accounts through upselling and cross-selling services
- Build and nurture senior client relationships as a trusted advisor
- Identify opportunities for expanding service offerings (creative, social, digital, AI-led solutions)
- Collaborate with internal creative, strategy, and delivery teams to craft compelling solutions
- Leverage offshore delivery models to optimize cost, efficiency, and scalability
- Stay updated on digital, social, and creative industry trends
- Understand the competitive landscape and position offerings effectively
- Represent the organization in industry forums and client meetings
Key Requirements:
- 10-15 years of overall experience with at least 6 years in digital agency environments
- Proven track record in client acquisition and account growth
- Experience working with global agency networks or international clients
- Strong exposure to creative, social, and digital marketing services
- Familiarity with offshore delivery models and distributed teams
- Exposure to AI-led production, automation, or emerging marketing technologies is a strong advantage
