• Managing day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions, entries, and adjustments
• Reconciling bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial records
• Preparing and processing invoices, receipts, payments, and other financial documents
• Assisting in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and summaries
• Monitoring and tracking expenses, budgets, and cash flow
• Assisting in tax return preparation and compliance with tax regulations
• Providing support during audits and financial reviews
• Staying updated with changes in accounting standards, regulations, and best practices
• Collaborating with team members and stakeholders to ensure smooth financial operations

Qualifications required for this role:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• Demonstrated expertise as a Bookkeeping Accountant or in a comparable position
• Proficiency in leading accounting software such as QuickBooks and the MS Office Suite, with advanced Excel capabilities preferred
• Thorough comprehension of accounting principles, practices, and procedures
• Impeccable attention to detail and precision in data entry and record-keeping
• Ability to work autonomously and prioritize tasks adeptly
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with US GAAP and up-to-date knowledge of relevant tax laws and regulations
• CPA certification is desirable but not obligatory
