Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Underwriting Assistant based in Ahmedabad. The Underwriting Assistant will be responsible for supporting underwriting processes, reviewing insurance applications for accuracy, analyzing data to assess risk levels, and providing assistance in preparing insurance quotes and policies. The role also requires communicating effectively with clients and team members, as well as ensuring all customer service queries are addressed promptly and professionally.

Qualifications

• Analytical Skills to assess and evaluate risk data effectively
• Communication skills, both verbal and written, for client and team interactions
• Experience in Insurance practices and basic knowledge of underwriting procedures
• Customer Service and maintaining positive client relationships
• Understanding of Underwriting processes and the ability to support key tasks efficiently
• Detail-oriented with organizational skills to manage multiple tasks
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field is preferred
