About Us
Prince Henry’s is an over-subscribed comprehensive school with over 1660 students, including around 350 in the Sixth Form. Our Ofsted Report (November 2024) confirms us as an outstanding school across all areas. Job Description
NJC Grade S01 Scale Points 23-25
Actual Salary £32,210.14 to £32,958.54 Per Annum
Permanent
37.5 Hours Per Week (6:30am until 2:30pm)
Term-Time Only, plus 12 Additional Days
Required 1st September 2026
Prince Henry's are looking to appoint a highly skilled and experienced Chef / Catering Manager to lead our long-established in-house catering service, which is very well regarded by students, staff and visitors to the school.
The successful candidate will have
- Experience of working in a large busy commercial kitchen environment
- Experience of managing a high-volume catering operation and of leading a team
- A valid food hygiene certificate at Level 3 or above (or commitment to complete)
- An appropriate Chef / Cookery / Catering qualification (e.g. NVQ / City 7 Guilds Level 2/3 or equivalent)
