About the Role

M/s.Trafotech Systems Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced and result-oriented Production Manager to lead manufacturing operations, production planning, quality compliance, and resource management. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical expertise in power sector products and have hands-on experience in transformer manufacturing, EHV equipment, substations, utility products, or related electrical engineering domains.

The candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient production processes, timely delivery, cost optimization, quality standards, and continuous improvement initiatives aligned with the company's business objectives and product portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

Production Planning & Control:

• Develop and implement production plans to meet customer delivery schedules.
• Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly production targets.
• Optimize manpower, machinery, and material utilization.
• Ensure adherence to production timelines and quality standards.

Manufacturing Operations:

• Manage end-to-end manufacturing activities.
• Oversee fabrication, assembly, testing, and dispatch operations.
• Ensure smooth coordination between Production, Quality, Design, Procurement, and Stores departments.
• Drive productivity improvement initiatives and process optimization.

Quality & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with ISO standards, safety regulations, and statutory requirements.
• Monitor quality control procedures and corrective actions.
• Maintain documentation related to production and quality systems.
• Implement preventive measures to reduce rework and rejection rates.

Team Management

• Lead and mentor production engineers, supervisors, and shop-floor personnel.
• Conduct performance reviews and skill development programs.
• Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.

Inventory & Resource Management

• Coordinate with procurement and stores for material availability.
• Monitor inventory levels and minimize production bottlenecks.
• Ensure optimum utilization of plant resources and equipment.

Safety & EHS

• Enforce workplace safety practices and EHS standards.
• Conduct regular safety audits and training programs.
• Ensure compliance with industrial safety regulations.

Continuous Improvement

• Implement Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, TPM, and productivity enhancement initiatives.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.
• Analyze production data and prepare management reports.

Educational Qualification:

• B.E. /B. Tech in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or equivalent.
• MBA Operations/Production Management will be an added advantage.

Experience

• Minimum 10 years of experience in production/manufacturing operations.
• At least 5 years in a leadership role managing production teams.
• Experience in transformer manufacturing, power sector products, EHV equipment, substations, utility products, electrical panels, switchgear, or related industries.
