Responsibilities
Design and execute functional and integration test scenarios
Validate geoscience or E&P workflows within applications
Work with cloud-based environments (AWS / Azure)
Contribute to test automation frameworks and strategy
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Dev, DevOps, Product)
Document test cases
Perform defect tracking and root cause analysis
Communicate and escalate issues clearly and promptly.
Stay current with existing and emerging technologies relevant to the role.
Document processes, configurations, and procedures accurately and maintain up-to-date records.
Collaborate effectively with remote teams across multiple locations.
Skills
Must have
Experience and Technical Skills:
3+ years of testing experience in the following:
Geoscience or E&P domain expertise with OpenWorks experience
Ansible
Terraform
Azure / AWS deployment understanding
Test documentation
Oracle / PostgreSQL / SQLite
Documentation using AsciiDoc
Soft skills:
Strong analytical thinking, communication, and problem-solving
Self-driven learner with adaptability to new technologies
Team-oriented mindset, mentoring junior members
Experience collaborating with remote teams and Agile methodologies
Nice to have
An undergraduate degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
Experience in drilling and operational domains, particularly within the oil and gas industry, is desirable.
