Role Description

We are seeking a qualified Phlebotomist for a full-time, on-site role based in Kolkata. The Phlebotomist will be responsible for collecting blood samples, verifying patient information, labeling specimens accurately, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. Additionally, the role involves maintaining equipment, ensuring cleanliness, and providing compassionate assistance to patients during sample collection. Coordination with laboratory teams and proper handling of biological samples are key aspects of this role.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Blood Collection and related Laboratory Skills
• Knowledge of Medical Terminology and Medicine as relevant to phlebotomy
• Experience in Medical Assisting and patient interaction
• Ability to work with precision and maintain high standards of hygiene and safety
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Certification or training as a Phlebotomist or relevant field is preferred
• Prior experience in diagnostics or healthcare is an added advantage
• Ability to manage time effectively and work in a fast-paced environment
