Farm Labourer

Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and responsible individual to work on our layer poultry farm. The candidate will assist in the daily operations of the farm, ensuring proper care of birds, maintaining hygiene, and supporting overall farm productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in daily feeding of hens as per schedule
• Administer medications and supplements as instructed
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the poultry sheds
• Perform egg collection and proper handling
• Monitor bird health and report any abnormalities
• Maintain daily records of:
• Egg production
• Mortality
• Ensure biosecurity measures are strictly followed on the farm
• Support in general farm activities as required

Requirements

• Prior experience in poultry farming is preferred (not mandatory)
• Physically fit and willing to work in a farm environment
• Responsible, disciplined, and attentive to detail
• Basic understanding of hygiene and animal care
