Job Description
You will be part of the Consumer Insights team at Lowes, working on consumer research projects to generate actionable insights using data from various sources. Your main responsibility will be to support the development of an effective Customer Strategy for Lowes by providing regular and ad hoc reports, supporting survey operations, developing scorecards and dashboards, and working on ad hoc consumer research questions.
- *Core Responsibilities:**
- Work with the Bangalore and US teams to define research needs, apply appropriate methodology, and conduct data analysis to generate insights.
- Program surveys using tools like Qualtrics/Decipher.
- Improve process efficiencies in ongoing projects such as Brand Health Tracker.
- Analyze customer data from multiple sources to identify trends, behaviors, and pain points.
- Ensure accuracy of 3rd party data feeding into reports, trackers, and analysis.
- Contribute to the development of new analytical methods or tools.
- Collaborate with vendor platforms/teams to manage research data for analytics projects.
- Work on ad hoc data/analysis/research requests.
- Measure the effectiveness of creative campaigns by tracking KPIs.
- Conduct competitive analysis to benchmark performance against industry standards and competitors.
- Present insights and analysis results to key stakeholders.
- *Qualifications Required:**
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, Marketing, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (Excel, Power Point, SPSS, etc.).
- Experience in understanding survey requirements and building questionnaires.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and with third-party vendors.
- Familiarity with business intelligence or data visualization tools is desired.
- Knowledge of data analytics tools like SQL, Python, Teradata, Hadoop is an advantage.
- Experience working on statistical models or with text data is a plus.
