Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Senior Chemist role based in Sonipat (Kundli), focused on the research, development, and optimization of eco-friendly cleaning products. The Senior Chemist will design and formulate new products using bio-enzymes and eco-chemicals, conduct laboratory experiments, and perform physical and chemical testing to ensure performance, stability, and safety. Daily responsibilities include managing lab workflows, maintaining detailed records, analyzing data, and preparing technical reports and documentation for internal and regulatory use. The role involves scaling formulations from lab to pilot and production levels, collaborating closely with production, quality, and regulatory teams to support smooth manufacturing and continuous product improvement. The Senior Chemist will also monitor market and scientific developments in green chemistry, recommend new technologies or raw materials, and mentor junior team members where needed.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in chemistry, preferably with experience in formulation chemistry, surfactants, detergents, or home and personal care products.
• Hands-on experience with laboratory techniques such as wet chemistry methods, titrations, stability testing, and performance evaluation of cleaning products.
• Ability to design experiments, analyze data, interpret results, and document findings in clear, structured technical reports.
• Knowledge of green chemistry principles, biodegradability, and safe handling of chemicals, with an interest in biotechnology and enzyme-based formulations.
• Familiarity with quality control procedures, basic regulatory and safety requirements (e.g., MSDS, labeling, compliance) for cleaning or chemical products.
• Effective collaboration and communication skills to work with cross-functional teams in R&D, production, and quality, and to guide junior staff.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline; several years of relevant industry experience in cleaning or specialty chemicals is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving mindset, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
