Job Description
As a Treasury Manager - Banking and Strategy at Avensys, you will be an integral part of the BKNG Treasury team dedicated to the client's brand. Your role will involve leading and executing global banking operations across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC regions. You will be responsible for various aspects including bank relationship management, commercial management, banking infrastructure, and treasury strategy. Your main focus will be on developing regulatory-compliant banking solutions and connectivity to enhance capabilities through continuous improvement, automation, and robust controls.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support global banking operations across Americas, EMEA, and APAC
- Oversee bank relationship management including wallet and fees, banking infrastructure, and treasury strategy
- Develop regulatory-compliant banking products and solutions
- Ensure effective connectivity through SWIFTNet, H2H, API, and Open Banking
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying gaps, automating processes, and adopting technology
- Design, implement, and maintain process and control frameworks to meet SOX/business control requirements
- Own key performance deliverables within established governance
- Plan and deliver complex, cross-functional initiatives across agencies, payments, and new revenue models
- Partner with cross-functional teams to communicate findings, blockers, dependencies, and recommendations
- Lead Banking and Strategy advisory for new verticals/products
- Contribute to annual planning and longer-term banking operating model aligned with company strategy
- Ensure compliance with banking, payments, tax, legal, and AML/sanctions regulations
- Act as an innovation catalyst by exploring opportunities and supporting implementation of financial services solutions
- Champion process improvement, waste reduction, automation, adoption of new technologies, and Six Sigma principles
Qualifications Required:
- Masters degree or advanced diploma in Treasury Management or International Finance
- 812 years of relevant experience
- Expertise in bank relationship management, commercial management, and service level management
- Strong understanding of banking connectivity and technologies
- Experience in designing integrations across TMS, ERP, and banking platforms
- Deep experience across banking, treasury, and financial services
- Advanced analytical skills with the ability to drive data-driven decisions
- Skilled in persuasion, negotiation, and leading workshops
- Ability to lead cross-functional collaboration in a complex environment
- Proven track record in global project delivery
