Senior Accountant - remote

Senior Accountant Location: India (Remote)

Department: Finance & Accounting

The Senior Accountant will be a key contributor to Napster's global accounting operations, owning the month-end close process, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with US GAAP and local accounting standards. This role offers significant exposure to a fast-paced, technology-driven entertainment company.

Own and manage the full month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes

Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reports

Maintain the general ledger and ensure accuracy of all financial data

Assist in the preparation of financial statements in accordance with US GAAP

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (FP&A, Legal, Operations) to gather financial data and support business decisions

Support the preparation of audit schedules and liaise with external auditors

Assist with technical accounting research and documentation of accounting policies

Mentor junior accounting staff and provide guidance on day-to-day accounting matters

Support tax filings and compliance requirements for Indian entities

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CA (Chartered Accountant) qualification strongly preferred

• 5–7 years of progressive accounting experience; experience in a technology, media, or entertainment company is a plus
• Proficiency in ERP systems (NetSuite preferred) and Microsoft Excel
• Experience with multi-entity and multi-currency consolidations
