Engagement details
The assignment is a one-time interview-style project for an AI Marketplace use case. No advance preparation is required; the expectation is that you speak from your own hands-on experience. The session is an AI-led recorded video interview lasting about 30 minutes.
Estimated compensation is $120 per hour, prorated to the 30-minute task.
What the interview will cover
- How you run batch and triggered email sends, from audience selection through content checks, link validation, rendering review, and schedule QA.
- How you monitor and respond to deliverability indicators, including authentication, bounce handling, spam complaints, and recovery actions.
- How you evaluate lifecycle program performance using more than surface-level vanity metrics.
- How you use holdout groups, attribution methods, and performance reviews to determine whether a program should be improved, scaled, or discontinued.

How the review works

Responsibilities
- Participate in a recorded AI-led interview and describe your real-world workflow in detail.
- Explain how you execute email sends, including audience pull, QA, scheduling, and launch checks.
- Describe how you oversee deliverability health, authentication, bounce response, spam complaint handling, and recovery steps.
- Break down how you measure lifecycle program impact and interpret results beyond superficial metrics.
- Discuss how you use holdouts, attribution, and performance reviews to make optimization, expansion, or retirement decisions.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of experience in email marketing operations, lifecycle marketing, CRM execution, or lifecycle analytics.
- Hands-on ownership of send execution, deliverability management, lifecycle program measurement, and optimization workflows.
- Practical experience deciding on or influencing pre-send approvals, QA checks, deliverability actions, test design, retention and revenue attribution, benchmark review, and program retirement.
- Working familiarity with tools such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Braze, Iterable, Marketo, Litmus, Email on Acid, Google Postmaster Tools, Tableau, Looker, and Power BI.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain processes, decisions, and reasoning clearly.
- Experience performing these duties in a real production environment.
