Senior QA Engineer (Remote)

Role Mission We're looking for a skilled Senior QA Engineer who will work in consultation with the Head of QA, to ensure the quality and reliability of the products we deliver to our clients. Deliverables

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright and Typescript
• Implement test automation frameworks to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
• Collaborate with product and development teams to understand requirements and design effective test strategies
• Conduct thorough testing of web applications (React, Express, Electron) to identify and report defects
• Perform regression testing to ensure the stability of software releases
• Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and provide valuable insights
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the evolution of our QA practices
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance testing methodologies

About you

• 5+ years experience as a QA Engineer in a technology-driven environment
• Strong Proficiency in test automation using Playwright and Typescript
• Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies
• Excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail
• Experience creating comprehensive test plans for use by 3rd parties or internal engineering
• Experience testing database changes (schema AND data)

Nice to have

• Experience with GitHub Actions
• Experience with Appium
• Experience utilizing LLMs (Large Language Models) for creating comprehensive and detailed test plans
