Solutions Engineer (Remote)

Role Mission The Solutions Engineer will act as the primary liaison between our clients and internal engineering teams. This role requires a blend of in-depth technical expertise and project management skills to ensure the successful delivery of projects, from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering background, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of managing complex projects.

Deliverables

• Serve as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and understanding of their needs and expectations
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients and conduct regular meetings to discuss project status, issues, and solutions
• Lead project planning sessions, defining project scope, goals, and deliverables
• Develop and manage detailed project schedules and work plans, coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure all project aspects are aligned and deadlines are met
• Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to ensure successful completion
• Understand and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, ensuring technical solutions meet client requirements
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies, proactively resolving project issues and addressing client concerns promptly

About you

• 5+ years of experience in a technical project management/solutions engineer role
• 3+ experience in software engineering, with up-to-date knowledge of current tech stacks
• A high bar for code quality and an unparalleled commitment to customer satisfaction
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• You thrive in a fast-paced environment, you're effective in finding quick solutions, you're data driven, and you have a do-what-it-takes attitude
• You're product-minded, understanding implications if changes to code or features
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field

Nice to have

• Recent experience in consulting
• Experience in EdTech, FinTech, Telco, and/or the AI space
• PMP or other relevant project management certification is a plus
