DMARehability is a leader in community based medical, vocational and occupational services across Western Ontario. We provide both individual and program-based treatment and assessment to auto insurance carriers, life insurance companies, legal community and government agencies.

The successful candidate will also be able to expand their skill set through our mentoring program and offers a high level of clinical autonomy, consistent referral volume, and the opportunity to work across diverse community and workplace settings.
This can be either a full time or part time role, and the OT will support London/Windsor and surrounding areas.

Your impact
Our OTs work directly with our physicians and clinicians in a collaborative assessment model as part of the Catastrophic Assessment Division.
In this role, you will:
- Perform Functional Assessments to evaluate a clients physical, mental, and behavioral state to determine the severity of injuries and impact on daily living (ADLs/IADLs).
- Produce detailed, defensible, and objective reports for insurers and the legal system.
- Work with physicians, psychologists, and neuropsychologists to provide a comprehensive evaluation.
- Ensure assessments align with specific legal definitions
What do you need to succeed?
- Current registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario
- If you are an IEOT, have started the SEAS process
- Experience working independently or as part of a team in the completion of catastrophic assessments
- Have taken the CAT Assessment Training offered through CSME
- Has experience working with TBI and/or SCI patients
- A minimum of two (2) years’ experience as an Occupational Therapist
- Superior interpersonal relations, communication, problem-solving, time management, computer and documentation skills
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as a member of a multidisciplinary team
- Valid driver’s license, access to a reliable vehicle and willingness to travel
