Summary

Summary

Under supervision receives and processes patients’ specimens (blood, urine, spinal and other fluids) for laboratory testing. Serves as the front line representative of the laboratory.

Responsibilities

Communicates effectively with members of patient care team and other hospital staff. Maintains patient confidentiality. Continually supports the Mission, Vision and Service Philosophy of LifeBridge Health and the Hospital. Communicates openly and honestly on all issues related to operations. Accurately and completely documents patient demographic information where required by departmental policies and procedures.

Experience: Required: * Less than one year

Education: Preferred: * High School / GED
