Responsibilities
- Oversee preparation and dispensing of medications, perform medication order verification and computer entry in the pharmacy information system
- Provide clinical consultation to physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals on drug selection, dosing, and interactions
- Identify, recommend, resolve, and prevent medication-related problems through direct interventions with prescribers
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) required
- Current Registered Pharmacist licensure in the State of Maryland required
- New graduates with strong clinical rotations are encouraged to apply; inpatient or hospital pharmacy experience preferred for experienced candidates
