Outpatient Mental Health Therapist Counselor

Life Renewal Services, Inc. is an innovative company with offices located in Baltimore City, Baltimore, Carroll and Howard counties. We are a Behavioral Health Center that provides mental health therapy and psychiatric rehabilitation programs to all ages and groups. We are searching for a full-time salaried Therapist to join our dedicated team working at our Baltimore location. Position includes salary benefits, 401k, M-F hours, no Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual therapy to a small caseload of adults that have a mental health and ensuring that all programs are implemented and operated successfully
• Keep meticulous records in accordance with current record-keeping systems including, but not limited to progress notes, statistical information forms and all forms related to client charts
• Complete all supporting documentation needed by billing personnel and/or third party payers
• Management of client services and authorizations
• Review of therapeutic interventions and plans
• Responsible for the daily administration and supervision of the OMHC, managing a staff of full and part-time therapists and support personnel.
• Helps with short term planning, program evaluation and compliance with federal, state, local and independent regulatory statues.
• Responsible for all staffing processes, such as, performance evaluations.
• Ensures quality of documentation and care of clinical care provided by therapists.
• Responsible for overall client satisfaction with clinic and clinic services.

Requirements

• The ideal candidate will have LGSW, LGPC, LCPC, or LCSW-C. Experience with substance abuse population preferred
• Familiar with State Regulations (COMAR), and CARF standards
• Compliance with ethical and professional standards of counselors and therapists
• Willingness to lead and to be proactive in critical situations
• Problem solving and decision-making skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $68,000.00 - $78,000.00 per year
