Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage Network Access Control policies to ensure secure and compliant network access.
- Maintain and enforce VPN policies, enabling secure remote access for employees and stakeholders.
- Implement, monitor, and optimize LAN/WAN policies to support efficient and reliable corporate network traffic.
- Oversee Wireless Network policies to ensure seamless connectivity and robust security across all wireless platforms.
- Manage VLAN configurations to optimize network segmentation and improve performance and security.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for CCTV systems ensuring continuous surveillance and security operations.
- Offer first and second-line support for Shopfloor Systems, ensuring minimal downtime and high productivity within the manufacturing environment.
- Resolve user support issues promptly, offering guidance for best practices in network usage and security protocols.
- Monitor network performance and lead initiatives to improve connectivity, security, and service quality.
- Maintain detailed documentation regarding network diagrams, network configurations, policies, and troubleshooting guides.
- Conduct regular audits, assessments and patch management of network devices to ensure compliance with security policies and industry standards.

Qualification and Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field.
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in network operations, engineering, or similar roles.
Preferred Skills / Special Skills
- Certification in network technologies (e.g., Cisco Certified Network Associate - CCNA, CompTIA Network+) is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Network Access Control mechanisms and best practices.
- Skilled in VLAN management and network segmentation strategies.
- Proficiency in VPN technologies and policy enforcement.
- Thorough understanding of LAN/WAN technologies and network optimization techniques.
- Hands-on experience with Wireless Network configurations and security protocols.
- Practical knowledge and experience in supporting CCTV systems and ensuring their uptime and functionality.
- Ability to troubleshoot Shopfloor Systems efficiently, minimizing disruptions to operations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to user support and network issues.
