Job Summary
The Accounts Payable Analyst is responsible for researching and analyzing invoices, resolving discrepancies, and performing reconciliations to ensure accurate and timely payment processing. This role supports the accounts payable function by maintaining data integrity, compliance, and strong vendor relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Research, review, and analyze vendor invoices to ensure accuracy and proper documentation
- Resolve invoice discrepancies, payment issues, and vendor inquiries
- Perform vendor statement, invoice, and account reconciliations
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and payment terms
- Support month-end close activities related to accounts payable
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to resolve issues efficiently
Qualifications
- Experience in accounts payable with a strong focus on invoice research and analysis
- Proven ability to perform detailed reconciliations and resolve variances
- Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency with ERP systems and Excel preferred
