LHH is seeking an experienced In‑House Legal Recruiter to support the continued growth of its corporate legal search practice. The Executive Recruiter, Legal In‑House is responsible for executing the full life cycle of direct hire recruiting for attorney roles in corporate legal departments, non-profit organizations and government entities. Partners with clients to define strategic objectives and hiring needs. Analyzes hiring needs, determines best recruiting methods, creates and deploys client and role‑specific recruiting strategies. Develops client accounts and generates new business through candidate and client leads, referrals and various forms of marketing. Builds and maintains a comprehensive candidate pipeline that addresses client needs. Serves as subject matter expert on market trends, target industries, and roles.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Contribute to business development efforts by uncovering and qualifying new job orders through candidate networking, referrals, and informed dialogue with hiring stakeholders in corporate legal departments.
- Source, engage and interview attorney candidates for in‑house legal roles in corporate legal departments, non-profit organizations and government entities through targeted research, networking, referrals, and direct outreach.
- Develop and maintain a network of potential clients and candidates through proactive sourcing and relationship‑building.
- Support full life‑cycle search execution, from role intake through offer acceptance, under the direction of senior search leaders.
- Utilize various recruitment tools and platforms to identify and attract clients and candidates.
- Cultivate client accounts and drives new business by leveraging candidate and client leads, referrals and a variety of marketing strategies.
- Assist with candidate presentation strategy, interview coordination, feedback collection, and follow‑up.
- Always maintain discretion and confidentiality, particularly for sensitive or senior‑level searches.
- Maintain an active and well‑organized pipeline aligned to current and anticipated searches.
- Keep up to date with current industry trends and recruitment best practices, while building and maintaining a network of professional contacts.
- Collaborate closely with other legal recruiters and practice team members to share market intelligence and best practices.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree required as is either a Juris Doctor or prior full‑cycle legal search experience working with corporate clients.
- Prior sales experience (retail, client services, business development, real estate) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of attorney roles and the skills required for success in these positions.
- Ability to manage multiple searches and priorities in a deadline‑driven environment.
- High level of professionalism, judgment, and attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.

Benefit offerings for full‑time employment include medical, dental, vision, term life and AD&D insurance, short‑term and long‑term disability, additional voluntary benefits, commuter benefits, wellness plans, and a 401k plan or a non-qualified deferred compensation plan. Available paid leave includes Personal Time Off (PTO) on an accrual basis up to 152 hours a year, 10 Paid Holidays, 1 Community Service Day, and up to 6 weeks of Paid Parental Leave. PTO and holiday hours are prorated based on hire date within the calendar year.
