Role Description

We are seeking a full-time experienced Surgical Dental Assistant to join our team. This is an on-site role involving direct support in surgical dental procedures, preparing treatment rooms, assisting clinicians, educating patients on aftercare, and maintaining sterilization protocols. Responsibilities include assisting with oral surgeries, ensuring patient comfort, managing infection control, and handling dental instruments and materials to ensure seamless clinical operations. The role also involves maintaining clear communication with the dental team and assisting in patient record management.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Dental Care and Patient Care to ensure efficient workflow and a positive patient experience
• Proficient in Oral Surgery and Dentistry to effectively assist in advanced periodontal or surgical procedures (Implants, Extractions, Bone Grafts, Direct Sinus Lift, Connective Tissue Grafts, All On X, and more)
• Knowledge of Infection Control procedures and best practices for a sanitary clinical environment
• Demonstrated teamwork, attention to detail, and strong interpersonal skills
• Certification or diploma in Dental Assisting Level II, with experience in surgical procedures preferred
• Current CPR certification and familiarity with Tracker dental software systems are a must
