Description
Leidos is currently seeking an experienced individual for a role supporting a dynamic customer acquisition program office. The successful candidate will be responsible for technical planning; system hardware, software, and network design; development and integration; verification and validation; and fielding. The candidate will also continuously evaluate technical alternatives, including risk, supportability, and system-level analyses.
Duties of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Provide technical advice and input to the customer’s Chief Engineer to help establish the strategic foundation for critical national capabilities and future initiatives
- Continually assess the customer’s business practices and recommend new solutions, processes, standards, or operational plans to improve mission effectiveness
- Serve as the Chief Engineer’s technical lead on large, complex projects
- Resolve highly complex, multi-dimensional problems requiring consideration of variables that impact multiple aspects of programs or projects
- Lead development of highly innovative products and solutions through collaboration with subject matter experts
- Execute systems engineering activities, including requirements analysis, functional analysis, timeline analysis, trade studies, requirements allocation, interface definition, technical management, integration, system testing, and quality assurance
Requirements
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment and effectively interact with DoD, military, civilian personnel, and industry partners
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Ability to anticipate and prepare responses and briefing materials for senior USG leadership on program-specific matters
Experience
- BA/BS degree with 12+ years of relevant experience, or MA/MS degree with 10+ years of relevant experience
- Experience with Agile development methodologies
- Working knowledge and demonstrated experience with Special Access Programs (SAP) and/or Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) activities
Security Clearance
- Must possess a current/active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph clearance in order to be considered
- Eligibility for access to Special Access Program information

Pay Range:
Pay Range $131,300.00 - $237,350.00
