The Opportunity
Leavitt Industrial Group is looking for a Network Administrator to join our team in Coquitlam, British Columbia. As the Network Administrator, you will deploy and manage enterprise-grade switching and wireless and firewall infrastructure. You will design secure, small-to-medium-sized networks, troubleshoot complex multi-vendor environments, and collaborate with managed service providers.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
As the Network Administrator your key responsibilities will include:
- Design, deploy, and support multi-site wired and wireless networks (Aruba CX & wireless)
- Configure and maintain Cisco and Ubiquiti network infrastructure
- Manage firewalls, VPNs, security policies, IPS/IDS, and SD-WAN
- Implement network security controls including VLANs, ACLs, and 802.1X/NAC
- Configure QoS for Microsoft Teams voice and video
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize network performance (L2/L3)
- Support site builds, upgrades, and maintenance activities
- Maintain network documentation, standards, and diagrams
- Collaborate on security incidents, change management, and escalations
Required Skills & Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, knowledge, and competencies:
- 5+ years of experience supporting enterprise networks (switching, wireless, firewalls)
- Familiarity with Aruba CX switching and Aruba wireless environments
- Prior experience managing firewalls, VPNs and security policies
- Understanding of core networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing)
- Ability to design and support small to mid-size branch networks end-to-end
- Experience with Cisco networking and SMB solutions (Ubiquiti)
- Strong documentation and troubleshooting skills
- Analytical with strong problem solving skills
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Relevant certifications (Aruba, Cisco, CompTIA, Sophos) preferred

The base pay range for this role is: $95,000 to $115,000 annually, depending on experience.
This is a hybrid role based in Coquitlam, British Columbia.
