Job Description
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Monitor network performance and system health using monitoring tools to ensure maximum uptime.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve network issues related to switching, connectivity, and hardware.
- Configure and manage network devices including switches, routers, and **OLT (Optical Line Terminal)** systems.
- Work with **MikroTik** devices for configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Provide **customer support** and **operator support** for network-related issues and escalations.
- Log, track, and update incidents using ticketing tools, ensuring proper documentation and timely closure.
- Coordinate with field engineers and internal teams for issue resolution.
- Escalate critical issues to higher-level support teams when necessary.
- Perform routine maintenance and preventive checks on network systems.
- Maintain accurate records of network performance, outages, and resolutions.
- *Required Skills:**
- Robust knowledge of **Network Monitoring Tools -** Zabbix
- Hands-on experience with **Switching technologies** (Layer 2/Layer 3 concepts).
- Experience working with **MikroTik** devices (routing, firewall, basic configuration).
- Understanding of **OLT systems** and fiber network architecture.
- Experience in **Customer Support** and **Operator Support**.
- Familiarity with **Ticketing Tools** - Synnefo
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- *Preferred Qualifications:**
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- Certifications like CCNA / MTCNA / Network+ are a plus.
- Experience in ISP or telecom environment preferred.
